Canada Loves Plaid Challenge

This year’s artistic challenge was- Canada Loves Plaid. All vendors were invited to come up with something creative that somehow would be a reflection of that theme.

There will be two prizes awarded- Juried Award and People’s Choice Award.

Here is a preview of Bonnie Glass’s submission with her thoughts on her interpretation.

“The different plaids patched together with Canada’s official tartan reflect our diverse backgrounds. The hard wearing denim was chosen to represent the hard work done by immigrants to forge a new life in Canada. In coming all together there is potential for real beauty as a country. I am grateful my parents chose Canada to immigrate to.”

Come and vote.
